Demand & Supply Planner - Annual Salary: Up to £40,000 depending upon experience

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Demand & Supply Planner. This role is pivotal in managing inventory levels and forecasting demand to ensure business needs and customer satisfaction are met. It is suited for individuals who excel in a collaborative environment and are proficient in using advanced forecasting tools.
Day-to-day of the role: - Develop and execute inventory management plans to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyse sales patterns, market trends, and seasonal fluctuations to forecast future demand accurately.
- Utilise a leading forecasting & replenishment system, to manage demand forecasts, product lifecycles, and order placements.
- Collaborate daily with Category Management, Branch Operations, Central Distribution, and Suppliers to monitor stock levels and track the progress of purchase orders through the supply chain.
- Lead regular review meetings with stakeholders to discuss forecast accuracy, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Employ strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills, maintain excellent organisation, and demonstrate effective communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role within supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical forecasting and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
