Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially 5 (A-level).

* Foster rigorous historical inquiry, encouraging source analysis and developing students' understanding of diverse periods and themes.

* Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-level History examinations, with a strong emphasis on historical evidence and interpretation.

* Assess and monitor student progress in History, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding and analytical skills.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History.

* Demonstrated experience teaching History Teacher lessons effectively at secondary key stages, with a track record of strong student outcomes.

* A deep and current understanding of the History curriculum and a commitment to innovative teaching methods.

* Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire a love of history.
