About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Paraplanner to join our client's established wealth management firm in Cirencester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm that is fully independent, and provides comprehensive financial advice tailored to short, medium and long term planning needs, with access to products from the whole of the market.You will play a key role in delivering tailored financial advice through research, report writing, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support to the Managing Director
- Prepare detailed suitability reports and planning recommendations
- Conduct research on pensions, investments, tax planning and protection products
- Liaise with providers and clients to obtain and validate information
- Ensure all advice and documents comply with FCA regulations
- Maintain accurate client records using Xplan, Dynamic Planner and MS Outlook
- Attend client meetings where appropriate
Must-Haves
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)
- Experience in a Paraplanner role within an IFA or wealth management firm
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, IHT, including BPR, VCT, tax and protection
- Proficiency in Xplan, Dynamic Planner and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
Nice-to-Haves
- Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards it)
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
