Reed Procurement are currently working in partnership with a dynamic and innovative manufacturing and engineering company at the forefront of delivering high-quality, precision-engineered solutions to various clients. As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a Project Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise their supplier management strategies across complex, high-value projects.

The Role

As the Project Supply Chain Manager, you will be the strategic link between our clients project teams and their global supplier base. You’ll be responsible for ensuring supplier performance, developing long-term partnerships, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain activities for assigned projects, from sourcing to delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance through KPIs and regular reviews
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align supply chain strategies with project goals
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity and resilience
  • Drive supplier development initiatives and continuous improvement programs
  • Support new product introductions and project launches with robust supply chain planning
About You
  • Proven experience in supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong background in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent (desirable)
