About Our Client
With over two decades of innovation, our client is a leading provider of smart IoT monitoring technology. They empower businesses with real-time data and actionable insights to improve compliance, boost efficiency, achieve sustainability goals, and optimise performance.

About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of new business acquisition across key verticals, particularly general manufacturing and food & beverage. You will identify opportunities, connect with key stakeholders from manager to C-suite, and craft tailored solutions that solve real-world problems using their real-time monitoring technology.

You'll work closely with their technical team to assess client needs and deliver compelling demonstrations, while also building a healthy pipeline in their CRM, driving leads to conversion, and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.

About You:

* Prior experience in a Business Development function for a Saas business

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Experience working across multiple verticals, ideally including manufacturing

* Confident cold caller with a structured, strategic approach

* Comfortable selling to both operational managers and C-level executives

* Proficient in CRM systems

* Experience with Real-Time monitoring technology and software would be a plus

Location: Manchester - 2-3 days/week in the office, 2-3 days/week travelling and meeting clients.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year + uncapped commission (OTE of £100,000+)
