An outstanding primary school in the borough of Wandsworth are seeking a part-time Year 2 Teacher to join their team.

This successful primary school in Wandsworth, has 2 forms on entry. They are currently looking for a qualified Year 2 teacher to start in September 2019. This position is 3 days per-week, job share and is paying an annual salary of up to £38,963.

This two-form entry primary school based near Streatham Common is part of a highly successful academy trust. They aim to nurture and develop children into lifelong learners. You will be based in a highly resourceful environment with state of the art technology and work with a supportive Senior Leadership Team.

Your role will be to work as a Year 2 class Teacher and job share 3 days per week with a highly experienced teacher who takes the class for 2.5 days. This school is looking for a highly ambitious Year 2 Teacher with proven track record of raising attainment and SATs experience. Experience within UN primary National Curriculum and SATs is essential for this role.

To be shortlisted for this role

o you should have class-based experience of working with primary-aged children in KS2 diagnosed with complex difficulties and speech and language

o Knowledge and experience of dysphagia (problems swallowing) would also be helpful

o Have experience supporting pupil's Social Skills development following strategies provided by SALT, Occupational Therapy, ASD Outreach teacher and Inclusion Manager

o Be able to deliver 1:1 and group interventions which meet the child's targets (IEP, SALT, OT, ASD Outreach teacher) and the outcomes of his EHCP

o Monitor progress and report to the Class Teacher and Inclusion Manager
