Their tools help online retailers manage, enhance and scale large volumes of product data, and they’ve built an excellent reputation for innovation, speed of delivery and technical depth.The company operates a fully office-based model, valuing close collaboration, quick decision-making and a genuinely team-centred engineering culture.RoleThey are now looking to appoint a PHP/Laravel Developer who can play a hands-on role in the continued evolution of their core platform. This is an opportunity to join a product-driven engineering team where your work directly shapes tools used by retailers across the UK and internationally.Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing new backend features and enhancing existing functionality within a Laravel-centric environment.
  • Improving platform performance, stability and maintainability as the product scales.
  • Working with queues, background jobs, and third-party API integrations.
  • Contributing to frontend elements where relevant (TALL-style or similar approaches).
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across engineering, QA, product and design.
This is a full-time, in-office role.Salary is dependent on experience, with the strongest candidates being considered up to £60,000.PersonAs this hire is central to the engineering team, we are specifically looking for developers with proven, hands-on Laravel experience. The business relies heavily on Laravel and modern PHP practices, so strong capability with the framework is essential.Ideal experience and qualities include:
  • Solid commercial background with Laravel, PHP, and MySQL.
