EYFS Teacher

• Part-time (Thursday and Friday)
• Location: Rural Lancaster Primary
• Daily Salary: £168.80 - £215.68

We are seeking an EYFS Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in rural Lancaster. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in early years education. The position is available until July 2026, with the potential for extension into the new academic year with increased hours depending on requirements.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to early years students, following the EYFS framework.
• Plan and prepare lessons that meet the developmental needs of young children, incorporating the development matters guidelines and phonics.
• Assess and record children’s progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students.
• Participate in school activities and continuous professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven EYFS teaching experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, development matters, and phonics.
• Ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences for young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
