Contract: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £13.50 // £27,175.50 per annum // £#removed# monthly // based on 183 working days per year

Pay Frequency: Monthly

Location: Manchester Airport, M90 5TE/Stanley Green, Cheadle

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, Night Shifts available

Hours: 12-hour shifts // 19:00-07:00

Role Overview

Due to recent expansion, and a move to a much larger site, we are seeking experienced and dedicated Warehouse Operatives to support the continued growth of our depot. This role will involve a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to offload, load, and move freight
• Check in and book shipments using our in-house system
• Unload and load freight from both company and third-party vehicles, including double-deck trailers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Perform a variety of ad hoc warehouse-related tasks as required

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Excellent Forklift Truck operating skills is a must
• Proven experience in warehouse operations
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• A passion for physical, varied work
• AVSEC CO Trained
