If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in working as part of a multi discipline team of Engineers, Technicians and Vendors in preparing and executing the commissioning activities in order to deliver process & utility systems to clients in accordance with the project technical standards and schedule. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the handover of water treatment equipment and systems from mechanical completion through to system handover, in line with the contract requirements. Helping to minimise and control any changes towards completion, commissioning and handover.
  • You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the Electrical Commissioning activities associated with your assigned projects. Assisting in managing the Commissioning scope in line with the agreed schedule ensuring sufficient resources and equipment are available to execute the scope within the agreed timeline.
  • Coordinating and attending meetings, preparing reports will all be a part of your day to day activities as well as developing processes and procedures to ensure that the progress of commissioning is effectively managed and coordinated to the rest of the project team.
  • You will also have input into design documents including, control philosophy, design risk assessments, commissioning plans, Risk Assessment / Method Statements and O&M Manuals.

General requirements for the role:
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Currently working as a Process or Commissioning Engineer who is passionate about delivering a high standard of customer service
  • Technical knowledge and experience in water treatment or pharmaceuticals
  • Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and willing to learn and develop.
  • Knowledge and experience in water treatment such as Potable, Waste or Water Treatment, Sludge treatment and chemical dosing systems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex problems
