Randstad Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Teacher for a leading secondary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be a passionate and dedicated educator with a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • You will create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of literature and language.
  • You will collaborate with a supportive team of English Teachers, sharing best practices and contributing to departmental initiatives.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities such as leading a creative writing club or participating in school productions.

Requirements :

  • A qualified English Teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching in UK secondary schools.
  • Eligibility to work in UK
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
  • A passion for English and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
