Job Description

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to Dealers/Owners in changing carrier strategies
  • Able to provide business development strategies including merger and acquisitions
  • Provide and develop operational, organizational and financial enhancements to improve Dealer/Owner performance
  • Implement national and local sales and marketing strategy in assigned territory
  • Responsible for territory development and building strong partnerships with Dealers/Owners to promote business and store count growth, either through acquisition or new locations
  • Responsible for consulting and collaboration with Dealers/Owners to increase their door productivity and efficiency through provided or approved means
  • Work in collaboration cross-functionally with various internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction/needs are met, while maintaining company policies and procedures
  • Continuously analyze Dealer/Owner's business (inventory, sales trend, financial status, customer satisfaction, etc.) and suggestion mutually agreeable business solutions to develop their business 
  • Provide feedback to and alert manager as needed
  • Offer Dealer/Owners on maximization of new product business development strategies based on their sales trends and financial capacity
  • Possess an understanding of all product lines, services, carrier information and their distinctions as they pertain to pertinent territory information relevant to the business
  • Maintain current knowledge on competitive information related to dealers, carriers and distributors
  • Effectively use technology to create efficient communication channels for Dealer/Owners
  • Prospect for new dealer and/or partner with Area and Regional Sales Managers on prospecting activities and territory
  • Conduct business according to company values
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • 4 years' field sales experience preferred
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc); intermediate proficiency desired
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Superior Business Acumen
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of personal organization & motivation
  • 4 year degree in Business or related field preferred; or the equivalent of 4 years field sales experience
  • Some Travel required (local and long distance)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
