Picker Packers/Warehouse Operatives

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Picker Packers/Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Wigan

Your hourly rate will be £12.21 per hour up until 31 March 2026, after which it will increase to £12.71 per hour.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday – 6am - 3pm

Rates of Pay: 

• £12.21 per hour up until 31 March 2026
• £12.71 per hour from 1 April 2026

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Picker Packer/Warehouse Operative will be:

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Packing goods ready for dispatch
• Moving stock safely within the warehouse using correct handling techniques
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Carrying out general warehouse tasks as required

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be a Picker Packer/Warehouse Operative will be:

• Hard-working, reliable, and punctual
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Previous picking and packing experience is essential

Training Provided:

• Full site training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
