Salary: £10.60 - £15/hour

We are recruiting for Care Workers/Care Assistants to work in Bexleyheath, Welling, Erith, Crayford, Abbey Wood, Bexley, Blackfen, Slade Green and surrounding areas.

You will be caring for older people and young adults living at home

Competitive rates of pay rate depending on experience and qualification plus paid Mileage

If you work full time you can expect to earn £ 24,000 - 26,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

* Personal care - helping to wash and dress

* Assistance with medication

* Shopping

* Support with everyday living tasks

* Light household duties

* Meal preparation

* Assist individuals to remain in the community, maintaining safety in their own homes

* Encouraging individuality and supporting independence

* Helping service users to maintain relationships within the neighbourhood especially those who live alone

* Work as part of a team alongside colleagues and other professionals

* Being the face of the company in the community and acting as a representative

Requirements/Skills:

Minimum 12 months previous experience in a similar role

Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent is a desirable qualification

Kind, caring and an understanding of how to support and care for others.

Reliable and professional

Flexible and dynamic approach to work

Willingness and able to work alternate weekend.

Good listening and communication skills

Have own transport - mileage paid

Willing to take full part in our ongoing training programme

Hours : We can offer block shift work or flexible hours to suit availability

Main Shift times: 07:00hrs - 10.00hrs

12:00hrs - 14:00hrs

16:00hrs - 19:00hrs

19:00hrs - 22:00hrs (enhanced pay rates apply)

We pay weekend and evening enhancements.
