CAD Operative (2D CAD)
We are currently looking for a CAD Operative to join a busy and growing engineering environment in Teesside on a full-time basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic CAD experience, particularly in 2D flat pattern drawings, to join a supportive team within the steel/fabrication sector.
The Role
• Create and replicate 2D CAD drawings and flat patterns
• Convert existing drawings into accurate CAD formats
• Support the production and fabrication teams with clear and precise drawings
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure drawings meet production requirements
Requirements
✔ Experience using 2D CAD software
✔ Ability to replicate drawings accurately into CAD
✔ Experience within the steel or fabrication industry is beneficial
✔ Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
✔ Reliable and proactive approach to work
