Paralegal – Corporate & Commercial

Location: Hybrid / Remote (South East–based preferred)

Salary: £40,000–£60,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits

Reporting to: Senior Legal Counsel

The Role

An experienced Corporate & Commercial Paralegal is sought to join a growing, multi-entity life sciences business. This is a broad, hands-on position offering exposure to commercial contracting, corporate governance, due diligence, and high-value transactions.

You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in ensuring the business remains contractually robust, audit-ready and transaction-ready.

This role suits a confident, detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and operating in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Corporate Support

  • Draft, review and manage commercial and corporate contracts
  • Support legal matters across multiple group entities
  • Maintain accurate document control and contract records

Due Diligence & Governance

  • Lead legal due diligence processes and ensure audit readiness
  • Identify and resolve documentation gaps
  • Minute board/committee meetings and maintain statutory records
  • Support company secretarial processes

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Senior Legal Counsel and Finance
  • Support cross-functional and transactional projects
Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Corporate & commercial paralegal experience
  • Strong contract and governance documentation experience
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities independently
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Life sciences, pharma, or regulated industry experience
  • Exposure to transactions or investment processes
  • In-house experience
  • GDPR knowledge
Working Pattern
  • Hybrid / remote-friendly
  • 9:00–5:00 with flexibility
  • Occasional additional hours during major transactions
