About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Paraplanner to join our growing wealth management team. The ideal candidate will support our Financial Advisers in delivering exceptional client service and comprehensive financial advice. You will play a key role in preparing client reports, conducting research, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Financial Advisers in preparing client recommendations and financial planning reports
  • Conduct research and analysis on investment products, pensions, insurance, and tax-efficient strategies
  • Prepare suitability reports and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
  • Gather and verify client data to ensure accuracy in financial planning models
  • Liaise with clients and providers to manage applications, transactions, and ongoing service queries
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, legislation, and compliance standards
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of client files and back-office systems
  • Support the adviser team with meeting preparation, cash flow modelling, and portfolio reviews
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure best practice across the paraplanning function

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning or financial planning support role
  • Strong understanding of financial products, pensions, investments, and protection planning
  • Excellent analytical and report-writing skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., Voyant, Xplan, or similar) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Progress toward or possession of a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) preferred
