Experienced Estimator - Material Profiling

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

* Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm

Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to manage the quoting and production process for precision material profiling projects. The role involves reviewing customer drawings, calculating material requirements and run times, preparing formal quotes, and overseeing jobs through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Review customer drawings and modify/edit using AutoCAD for input into quoting software.

* Use nesting software (e.g., SigmaNest) to calculate materials required and production run times.

* Collate all costs and submit formal quotes to clients.

* Manage each job through the production process, liaising with clients and internal teams.

* Maintain accurate records of quotations and production progress.

Skills & Experience

* CAD experience essential

* Engineering experience essential

* Profile cutting experience beneficial

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications

* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Experience with AutoCAD is essential

* Experience with SigmaNest beneficial
