The Role

We are seeking a SEND Funding Manager to join our central team. This is a pivotal role, reporting to the Chief Finance & Operations Officer and Strategic SEND Improvement Lead. You will:

  • Oversee a caseload of Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) across the trust.
  • Ensure funding aligns with the needs and provision for pupils with SEND.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to schools and local authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial viability of SEND provisions.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with:

  • A Level 4 qualification in Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • GCSEs (5 A*-C or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes.
  • Experience managing SEND cases or working in a similar educational role.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
