Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking an experienced HGV mechanic to join one of our most prestigious clients in Horsham. You will be part of a team responsible for assisting with the fleet maintenance and ensuring that the vehicles comply with current legislation and safety inspections. Experience within an LGV/PSV environment is preferable however not required.

Key Duties:

* Carry out daily safety inspections to the vehicle fleet

* Complete relevant documentation regarding vehicle maintenance

* Ability to work to deadlines

* Deliver high standard of costumer service

* To participate in the training and learning of alternative fuelled vehicles, either battery, electric or hydrogen.

Requirements:

* Experience of HGV mechanical engineering

* You must hold a Class 2 driving licence

* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

* Availability from Monday to Friday

* Would need own transport to get to and from the workplace

Benefits:

* Competitive pay rate of £23.00ph to £24.00 Umbrella

* Annual salary when you get a perm contract will be £36.400 (plus supplement)

* Permanent work available depending on performance

* Triple pay on Bank holidays
