For one of our market leading clients in Amersfoort, I'm recruiting for Account Manager.

Are you an experienced interim leader who can bring structure, direction, and results in a complex B2B environment? Do you thrive at the intersection of commercial strategy, service delivery, and operational execution? Then this assignment is for you.

What is expected in the initial period includes:

  • Stabilizing & providing direction: rapid diagnosis, clear priorities, rhythm in management (team/client/chain), and clear agreements on roles and responsibilities.
  • Senior-level client management: robust stakeholder management, proactively managing expectations, tightly organizing escalations, and professionalizing client communication.
  • Portfolio and value management: sharpness in account plans and pipeline (cross-selling/upsell), choices regarding where to focus or not, and coherence between commercial activities, capacity, and delivery.
  • Leadership in transition: guiding the team through changes, establishing a performance culture (ownership, clarity, honoring agreements), and strengthening the team lead/leadership layer.



Must-haves (hard requirements):

  • Experienced interim leader (direct + indirect) in complex B2B services (preferably regulated/financial).
  • Able to translate strategic direction into operational governance and execution.
  • Strong in executive stakeholder management (customers and internal seniors).
  • Experience with service/SLA management and demand/change/portfolio management in collaboration with Ops/IT.
  • Brings structure, makes decisions, drives results, and brings people along (calmness + pace).



Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the mortgage servicing chain or a similar financial chain.
  • Lean/continuous improvement or service maturity processes.
  • Experience with complaint management/claims or escalation processes.
