An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor to join a well-established and growing regional law firm in Brighton. This position forms part of the continued expansion of a busy and successful Leasehold Enfranchisement and Block Management team, offering the chance to play a key role in shaping a thriving area of practice.
The Role
You will handle a broad range of leasehold enfranchisement matters, acting for both freeholders and leaseholders. The role offers high levels of responsibility, client contact, and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the team.
Your work will include:
Advising on statutory and voluntary lease extensions
Collective enfranchisement matters
Freehold acquisitions and disposals
Right of first refusal and right to manage issues
Supporting block management and related property matters
Managing your own caseload while contributing to the growth and profile of the department

About You
Qualified solicitor with experience in leasehold enfranchisement
Proven experience acting for both landlords and leaseholders
Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage matters independently
An existing client following or reliable referral network would be advantageous, or a clear plan for developing work
Commercially aware, proactive, and client-focused
A collaborative approach and interest in contributing to business development
