Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 5:00pm
About the Role
My client is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their established and growing distribution team based in Chelmsford.
This is a physically active picking and packing position within a busy PPE distribution warehouse. The role involves working on your feet throughout the shift while using handheld scanning devices to pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
The warehouse operates to daily dispatch deadlines so pace consistency and strong attention to detail are essential. This role requires reliability strong attendance and a positive work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Picking customer orders using handheld scanning devices
Packing orders securely and accurately for dispatch
Manual handling of both small and large items
Working to daily productivity and accuracy targets
Maintaining high standards of attendance and punctuality
Keeping work areas clean safe and organised
