RMN/ RNLD Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse

£3,000 STARTING BONUS

Pay: £35,000 - £39,000/pa (dependant on experience) + £3,000 BONUS + enhancements

RMN/RNLD essential requirements:

- Valid NMC pin with no restrictions present

- Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience

The role:

- 37.5 hours/ week

* 2 weeks of induction upon starting the role, including agreed shadowing time

* The role is within a a locked, specialised mental health medium secure / low secure and rehabilitation and recovery setting. The patient group consists of males with Personality Disordered Learning Disability and Enduring Mental Illness

* Work as a part of an effective Multi-Disciplinary Team

* Promote the best interest of clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care in consistently implemented to your allocated patients

* Assess, plan and deliver nursing care which considers patient choices and wishes, while acting as the patients' named nurse

* Carry out patient assessments and evaluate their progress accurately

* Review and Monitor Nursing Care Plans

* Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions as appropriate

* Deal with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families/carers

* Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested

* Prioritise nursing duties and delegate as appropriate

* Work as nurse-in-charge as required

* Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance to preceptorship and revalidation

* Participate in clinical supervisions and reflective practise at least monthly

* Act as a preceptor to newly qualified staff

* Pay enhancements:

Monday to Friday 22:00 - 6:30 20% of hourly rate

Saturday All Day 20% of hourly rate

Sunday All Day 50% hourly rate

Bank holidays All Day 50% hourly rate
