My client was established as the UK's top partner for Odoo ERP as well as one of their top partners in Europe, with a client base that extends from SME businesses to global names across a variety of business sectors including manufacturing, distribution, energy, professional services, etc. We are looking to expand our business operation to India with a base in Bangalore.

The role calls for an experienced Leader in the Software Development Solutions sector who may have been managing a small team and would like to extend the scope of their management experience. Or has gained a strong track record and wants to help build a medium-size business to expand and grow, with all the challenges that bring. You can be a key player within a successful business.

About you, the Delivery Manager.

* The role will be to manage the complete delivery team including developers, support, QA, functional consultants and the project management teams

* Carry out a review of any task designs provided from the UK or North American offices and liaise/collaborate with the other teams to ensure full understanding of all development task's scope is delivered on-shore and off-shore.

* Educate and coach the teams on commercial awareness

* Manage priorities and spot potential roadblocks

* Allocate the tasks and manage their production keeping a close eye on time versus an estimate

* Be the escalation point for identified issues such as task overrun, design issues, etc

* Proactively manage as opposed to just supervise.

* Ensure development quality and efficiency is maintained

* Ensure compliance with all internal processes

* Attend regular Teams meetings with the UK development team

What is Essential

* You have2+ years of experience working in Software Solutions and ideally in ERP.

* You have 2-4 years of experience in managing a team of professional services and developers (up to 10).

* A career track record of success.

* You understand Software workflows and can grasp the requirements from functional designs (from Charts, Workflow & Screenshots).

* You have good communication skills and experience.

* Understand the software development process.

* Time management: Be able to manage the time of your team & distribute the work accordingly.

* You are responsible: You can take ownership of the work assigned to your team and delivery within the stipulated timeframe.

* Ideally have worked in high volume multiple project deliveries

* A “can-do” approach
