Location: Salisbury
Salary: £35,000-£37,000
Hours: 37.5 per week with 1pm finish on Fridays

About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance & Production Engineer who wants to make a real impact. This is a varied, hands‑on engineering position where you'll play a key role in product compliance, manufacturing efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

Organising prototyping, in‑house testing and preparing products for third‑party approvals.
Liaising with approval bodies to secure and maintain product certifications.
Managing compliance documentation, including registers, technical files and approval renewals.
Reviewing industry standards to ensure our products always meet current regulations.
Partnering with Technical, Design, Compliance, and Production teams on product and process improvements.
Conducting manufacturing audits to increase efficiency and reduce cost of poor quality.Who We're Looking For

Someone with a strong engineering mindset who enjoys problem‑solving, improving systems, and ensuring quality at every stage. You'll ideally bring:

A Bachelor's degree or Level 6 apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
At least 2 years' experience in compliance, production engineering, quality, or manufacturing.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Confidence reading technical literature and contributing in cross‑department meetings.
Microsoft Office proficiency. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, hands on, multidisciplinary environment, this is the role for you.
