Job Title: Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £43,000 - £44,000 + £2,000 Annual Allowance
Shifts: Monday - Friday Days

We are looking for an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a busy packaging plant in Leicester. Ideally Engineers will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food, pharmaceutical or FMCG and looking for their next role. You'll be joining a strong team of Engineers dedicated to ensuring smooth, efficient operations across the site. Your day-to-day will include a balance of reactive and planned preventative maintenance, driving continuous improvement projects, and helping identify root causes to increase reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical fault finding and repair on production machinery
Quick and effective response to breakdowns
Lead small projects to improve plant performance
Conduct routine Health & Safety checks on equipment
Work with PLC controls and automation systemsExperience on any of the following machines would be advantageous

Slitting Machines
Check Weighers
Metal Detectors
Label Printing Machines
Vertical Form Fill & Seal Machines
Conveyor Systems
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Bearings
Motors
General building maintenanceIdeal Candidate:

Electrically focused engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)
Some mechanical/multi-skilled engineering experience
Experience in delivering improvement projects and efficiency initiatives
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG/pharma preferred, but not essential)
