Fire & Security Engineer - Bristol

An established and reputable independent fire and security installation company is currently seeking a skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team.

Role Overview:
This varied and rewarding role will involve routine maintenance, fault finding, testing, and repair of fire and security systems in line with NSI standards. The successful candidate will work across a diverse client base, including commercial, retail, and high-value residential customers. Typical coverage areas include Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Gloucester

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct servicing and maintenance of fire and security systems

* Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently

* Carry out routine system testing and compliance checks

* Participate in the emergency call-out rota

* Provide a high standard of customer service

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience in the fire and security industry

* Broad knowledge of fire alarms (conventional & addressable), intruder alarms (including wireless), CCTV, and access control systems (including IP-based)

* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

* Strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices
