  • Assist with the management of the company’s quality management system (QMS) based on integration and adaptation of recognized and generally accepted industry practices in accordance with ISO-9001 as far as practicable to company operations.

  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement throughout the DPM organization.

  • Perform inspections using measuring equipment on received, in-process and final released materials and products.

  • Collect data for product quality monitoring and measurement systems analyses.

  • Collect data for non-conforming and corrective action databases for disposition and resolution.

  • Provide technical and administrative support to continuous improvement process initiatives.

  • Operate an effective calibration and maintenance program for measuring and test equipment integrity.

  • Assist supply chain management in supplier selection and approval processes.

  • Assist with training programs, policies, workplace instructions, and guidance documents related to quality issues.

  • Research and write reports and recommendations for enhancements or changes to existing company policies, procedures, or workplace instructions. 

  • Participate in quality audits, inspections, and assurance programs.

  • Participate in root cause analyses (RCA) and 8-D Problem Solving to devise practical solutions, recommend containment and corrective actions, and develop and implement time-bound action plans to resolve internal and external quality non-conformance issues.

  • Assist with the customer complaint log and assist in the resolution of customer quality complaints.

  • Train management and employees in all quality requirements.

  • Interact and support a broad spectrum of personnel internal and external to the company.  Work effectively and efficiently in both team-based and independent working environments to reduce costs and add value to the organization.

  • Perform other job duties/tasks as directed by management.



  • HS Diploma or GED

  • (2) two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

  • One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment; and

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications software.



  • Associate’s degree (A.S. or A.A.S.) or completion of a certificate program in Quality Assurance or Control, or related science or technical field from an accredited college or university or a recognized industrial trade school with two (2) or more years progressive experience in quality control; or

  • Three (3) or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

  • Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications software.

  • Two (2) or more years experience in an HVACR manufacturing environment;

  • Two (2) or more years experience with lean six sigma manufacturing processes;

  • Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) credential from the American Society of Quality (ASQ).
