Dovetailors is seeking a motivated CNC Operator to produce high-quality machined wooden components for our innovative furniture projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, values craftsmanship, and enjoys working as part of a supportive workshop team.
What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC machines (SCM 5-axis and Axyz 3-axis).
- Set up machines, load programs, and complete basic edits for accuracy.
- Read and interpret CAD/CAM models and cutting lists.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet required standards.
- Complete manufacturing orders within the MRP system.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
- Support waste-to-fuel processes (wood shredder and briquette machine).
- Contribute to workshop organisation and continuous improvement.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Desirable:
- CNC experience (woodworking or manufacturing).
- Familiarity with SCM and/or Axyz CNC systems.
- Ability to read CAD/CAM models.
- Experience with MRP systems and/or continuous improvement methods.
