SEND Teaching Assistant - Bamber Bridge

Location: Bamber BridgeHours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)Pay: £109 per day

We are currently recruiting for a SEND / Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the Bamber Bridge area. This is a highly rewarding, full-time, term-time-only opportunity supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including complex learning needs
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom
• Assisting with personal care when required
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Term time only

• £106 per day

• Experience in care work, support work, or a similar setting is highly desirable
• Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs is also valued
• Confident and comfortable assisting with personal care if required
• Patient, compassionate, and resilient in approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
