Role: Internal Communications Manager

Location: Hybrid / Flexible

Contract Type: Full time

Hours: 8.30 am to 5 pm on Mondays to Friday

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, working closely with the rest of the Marketing department, for a global business of over 2000 people. The role requires you to execute the company's Internal Communications strategy, including liaising with the business stakeholders to develop and integrate the communication needs of each department. Helping to prepare the content and take full responsibility for how the content will be passed through the communications. Based out of the new Manchester office in the City Centre, the role is hybrid and flexible, suiting your lifestyle. It is a temporary 12-month Fixed-Term Contract covering maternity leave until April 2024, however, there is potential for this to become a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate the company's Internal Communication Strategy

Own the Content Calendar across the whole company

Organise, write, and format communications for any projects

Create the weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly comms for the whole company

Being the primary Point of Contact for key areas of the business

Attend regular catch-ups and support communications planning

Content creation

Copywriting

Assist the company's external communications through Social Channels

Support the Marketing Director through pitch Steps

Skills/Experience Required

Marketing or Communications degree preferred (not essential)

2+ years' experience in a similar role (Internal Comms/Marketing role)

A start-up background is preferred

Excellent copywriting and Content Creation skills

Experience using Microsoft tools and other Asset Creation tools (i.e., Canva and Photoshop)

Excellent planning and organisation skills

Creative and has a flair for creative writing

Ability to take initiative

Self-motivated

Ability to build relationships

Team player

Outgoing

Excellent communication skills
