Adult First Contact Service

Full time locum contract

Hybrid working - 3 days on site in Sutton

£30p/h (potentially negotiable depending on experience)

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their Adult First Contact Service in Sutton, on a locum basis initially.

You'll be responsible for triaging referrals to the OT Service / urgent visits including moving and handling cases & priority DFG referrals.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy assessments to address immediate needs and reduce risks within a 2-week time frame.
Provide equipment, recommend adaptations, and collaborate with caregivers for moving and handling risk assessments.
Screen and prioritise occupational therapy referrals from residents, community partners, and health colleagues.
Supervise and guide Enabling Independence Officers acting as trusted assessors.
Facilitate resident access to appropriate support to enhance quality of life and well-being.Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC Registration.
