About the Role

A welcoming and community-focused primary school in the Swansea area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their Nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality early education and care to young children.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years team to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can grow, explore, and develop the foundations for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities

Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Phase (EYFP)
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
Observe and record children's progress in line with school and local authority requirements

Requirements

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential)
Experience working within an Early Years or Flying Start setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A nurturing and proactive approach to child development
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
