General Teaching Assistant (TA)

About the school
We are seeking a general teaching assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Barnet, London. This full-time position is ideal for someone confident in supporting Key Stage 2, particularly in year 3 or year 5, and able to deliver focused boosters and interventions in core subjects such as English and maths.

This is a vibrant and inclusive school where children are encouraged to be the very best version of themselves. With excellent facilities and a friendly, supportive team, you'll be working alongside an experienced class teacher to provide tailored support to pupils who are struggling academically. While a few pupils have additional learning needs, there are no severe SEN requirements, and you'll have the support needed to help them thrive.

What we're looking for
• Experience working in KS2 and confidence delivering subject-specific interventions
• Ability to adapt work and break down tasks for pupils needing extra support
• Initiative, creativity, and a positive, energetic attitude
• Strong relationship-building skills with children, staff, and families
• A calm and encouraging approach in the classroom

Whether you're an experienced TA or someone with a strong academic background looking to step into education, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a school that truly values its team.
