Job Title: Systems Integration and Proving Engineer - Strike Weapons

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Benefits

A leading defence company is seeking a Systems Integration and Proving Engineer to join a high-impact team in the development, integration, and qualification of next-generation strike weapon systems. You'll be working across the full proving lifecycle, helping to deliver safe, effective, and robust systems that meet stringent defence requirements. What You'll Be Doing:
Planning, executing, and analysing system trials to demonstrate platform integration and weapon system performance.
Carrying out in-depth behaviour analysis across complex internal and external system interfaces.
Delivering trials in multiple environments:
Software virtualised platforms
Lab-based functional integration rigs
Platform-level acceptance testing
Live system integration and firing trials
Conducting and supporting fault investigation and root cause analysis.
Ensuring safe and reliable test execution through robust risk management and asset control. What You'll Bring:
We're looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
Systems Integration & Validation
Systems Qualification and Acceptance
Test & Evaluation (T&E) in hardware-software systems
Software test environments and network integration
Automated verification techniques and data analysis
Additional desirable skills:
Experience using IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools
Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
Scripting or software tooling experience for system analysis or automation
