The Company:

Our client is a Garden Landscaping Company who are well established. A personable yet professional garden landscaper firm skilfully executing domestic landscaped gardens. Due to constant growth and expansion, they are seeking to recruit A Horticulturalist to join their small team.

The Job Role Details:

A well organised and Horticulturalist, who is driven and passionate, who prides themselves in their work and projects. Seeking someone who is experienced working with both hard and soft landscaping. You will work predominantly local in Shropshire.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be able to work independently, as well as alongside a team of gardeners.
Working multiple ongoing projects
Demonstrate good horticultural ability, good plant identification skills and a genuine passion for the work.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of health and safety practices
Labouring will be required, as necessary
Build and maintain relationships with clients/ customers.
Provide advice and consultation where necessary
Maintaining nursery stock and being involved in propagation
Attend flower shows and plant sales
Have an understanding and interest in naturalistic planting and garden principles

Essential/ Desirable skills will include;

It is essential that you have practical experience in a similar role.
Ideally a minimum of RHS L2 or similar along with PA1/ PA6 spraying certificates
Maintain and develop a range of gardens and areas to a high standard.
Seasonal border maintenance such as weeding, mulching, plant division and pruning.
Specialist Wisteria, Rose and Orchard pruning and larger scale soft landscaping
Have a real pride in your work and a responsible attitude towards the projects and our
commitments to our clients, showing care and thought in your work.
Be well presented in your appearance and respectful to clients, their property and gardens.
Be physically fit and able with have a flexible, can-do attitude.

Salary Package:

Around £20,000p,a
