The speed read:

We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join this highly regarded and truly multi-disciplinary agency working in the fields of branding, industrial product and environments design on a temporary rolling contract. This agency are quiet giants within the design industry. They work with global household brands but they are very discreet about it - their works speaks for itself. It will provide you with a great opportunity to develop your skills in an experienced and highly knowledgeable client services team.

The facts:

You love working with your clients to gain an understanding of what they need.

Your flair for nurturing relationships combines with a penchant for hands-on delivery (with support), as well as real eagerness for making sure everything stays on track. You can flag issues without a big fuss and clients like you.

You will have experience (3 years' +) in mid to large sized agencies and understand the importance of process and budgets, but you can also adapt when things shift. You'll be working collaboratively alongside the Senior Account Managers who will be supporting you, so naturally you'll possess great communication skills. You'll ensure that channels of communication are always open, maintaining the trust of all stakeholders and establishing an organized workflow, potentially across several clients at once. You may be working across a number of projects at any point in time, so you need to have a good understanding of process and a no fear of working at pace.

You will be involved in all stages of the project and you'll be exposed to some great conversations around brand strategy which will serve you well in the long term. From a project management perspective, you'll be helping with budgeting, planning and scheduling projects as well as monitoring the schedules and project deliverables. You could be working with external suppliers and manufacturers to get costs and specifications from them and to ensure that their recommendations and timings are fed back to the relevant parties.

You'll be:

  • An outstanding communicator; highly articulate and clear about what you need to do
  • Really strong on detail
  • Comfortable around project financials, you'll confidently track key account metrics
  • Curious and open-minded about different business cultures
  • Likeable, with a can-do attitude
  • A learner, with a constant ambition to develop and grow
  • You genuinely love good design and have an understanding of what it takes to get it realized

Ideal superpower:

Fantastic levels of rigour

Salary:

£35k pro rata
