Property Lettings Administrator         

Location: Dorking, Surrey             

Salary: £24k doe

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Lettings Administrator dealing with new, existing and ending tenancies, based in Dorking. Our client is an award-winning independent estate agent and a forward thinking business which uses cutting edge technology backed by 20 decades of experience to assist with the buying, selling and renting process.

They successfully lead a team of experts, who provide a complete range of professional services to farmers, landowners as well as assisting with buying, selling, managing and letting land and homes.

Key responsibilities:

Setting up tenancies on Goodlord and sending/monitoring references for Tenants
Drawing up tenancy agreements and sending pre-tenancy information to Tenants
Booking inventories and compliance checks
Registering and de-registering deposits
Conducting right to rent checks on Tenants in line with the current regulations
Raising tenancy invoices and taking payments
Contacting utility companies and managing void period bills
Dealing with tenancy renewals and rent reviews
Processing notices and check outs
Drawing up Section 21 and Section 13 notices
Dealing with non-managed deposit returns
Ensuring compliance knowledge is kept current
Chasing rent arrears
Drawing up variation of contracts for mid tenancy requests
Dealing with Tenants and Landlords questions regarding the whole tenancy process
Answering phone calls and taking details of enquiries if negotiators are out of the office

Key Skills:

Good customer service and telephone manner
Understanding of the tenancy process from application stage to check out
Knowledge of Reapit beneficial but not essential
Good knowledge of Word and Excel
Good organisational skills

The position is permanent and full time, 5 days a week
