Infrastructure Engineer - Bristol (Hybrid) | £50,000-£60,000

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking IT Services team, where you'll play a key role in delivering, supporting, and evolving a global cloud-first infrastructure.

This is a permanent role based in Bristol, with hybrid working.

What You'll Do

You'll provide expert 3rd line support across infrastructure, platforms, servers, and networks, ensuring the smooth delivery of business-critical services. Your work will cover physical, virtual, and cloud environments - from wired/wireless networking to SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and operating core platforms, hardware, and operating systems.
• Ensuring the integrity and security of networks, systems, and data.
• Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver smooth operations.
• Contributing to migrations, deployments, and testing new technologies.
• Participating in on-call support for escalations as required.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with strong experience in IT operations, confident in taking ownership and working across complex infrastructure. You'll bring:

• Knowledge of cloud and virtualisation technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Familiarity with ITIL/IT Service Management practices.
• Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, load balancers, WiFi deployment).
• Skills in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Terraform).
• Understanding of security solutions (firewalls, Zero Trust).
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Exchange, VMware, and SQL Server.
