Multiskilled Worker

£17.62 per hour paye

£22.85 per umbrella

Company Van + Call‑Out Payments Full‑time, Temporary and Permanent contracts available

BDS Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading housing association in the North East. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Multiskilled worker to join a busy property services team.

About the Role

* Carry out a range of repairs and maintenance tasks (plumbing, joinery, basic electrics, decorating)

* Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard

* Keep schemes clean and organized, and complete all required paperwork

* Work closely with colleagues, contractors, and customers

* Look after company tools, equipment, and van

What You'll Need

* Experience in a trade or multi‑skilled maintenance role

* Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar)

* Good understanding of Health & Safety

* Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach

* Ability to work independently

* Full UK driving license
