We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to apply for Lecturer roles in the field of Welding within a further education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and practical lessons in various welding methods (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc).
Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in the workshop at all times.
Develop course materials and assessments that align with current industry practices.
Track and report student progress through formal assessments and feedback.
Support learners in achieving qualifications and developing employability skills.
Maintain workshop tools and equipment to ensure a safe learning environment.
Job Requirements:

Hold a qualification degree or professional qualification in Welding basics and methodologies.
Relevant welding industry experience (essential).
Up-to-date knowledge of welding practices, safety protocols, and qualification standards.
Ability to teach both practical and theoretical content clearly and effectively.
Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with pupils.
A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
