Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional learning needs? We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible General TAs to work across SEN provisions in both primary and secondary settings throughout RCT.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and is committed to supporting pupils with diverse needs—including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural needs, speech and language challenges, and learning difficulties.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Support pupils with emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.
Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs.
Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents where required.

✅ What We're Looking For

Experience working with children (school, youth work, care, or similar).
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
Confidence working across both primary and secondary environments.
A willingness to support SEN pupils with empathy and consistency.
Ability to travel across various schools in RCT.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
