We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our client's team in Bentham. This role is crucial for providing overnight support and ensuring the safety and well-being of those in the school's care. Ideal candidates will have a passion for helping others and possess strong observational skills.
Day-to-day of the role: - Monitor and support the needs of residents throughout the night.
- Conduct regular checks and provide assistance as needed while ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
- Respond to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of observations and care provided during the shift.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in a support care role, preferably in a waking night position.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to various situations during night hours.
- Empathetic and patient with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
