Are you dynamic, adaptable, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment? This established software consultancy is seeking a Technical Support Administrator & Tester to join their growing team. This role is central to ensuring their clients receive outstanding support while also contributing to software testing and continual improvement across the technical department.

Key Responsibilities

Test internally developed software in both development and pre-release stages, ensuring quality sign-off.

*

Log, assign, and resolve support calls within agreed SLAs.

*

Act as the point of escalation for client support issues and complaints.

*

Collaborate with the development team to resolve code issues and manage upgrades.

*

Schedule engineers for maintenance visits to resolve hardware issues promptly.

*

Maintain company ISO standards and ensure service levels meet agreed SLAs.

*

Keep SAS records up to date and administer internal documentation systems.

*

Offer upgrades to existing customers regularly.

*

Undertake ad-hoc duties when required.

About You

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, aptitude, and ambition. While not all skills are essential, the ideal candidate will bring:

Experience testing software applications and working directly with clients.

*

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including formulae and data analysis tools).

*

Understanding of Active Directory environments and server user groups.

*

Familiarity with troubleshooting tools (Event logs, performance monitor, process monitor).

*

Ability to identify and analyse data patterns to diagnose faults.

*

Knowledge of SQL for reporting and data manipulation.

*

Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

A willingness to learn and apply new skills quickly
