Their fully equipped service centres and mobile engineering teams are capable of handling valves of all sizes, including safety-critical components, with rapid response and precision. As part of continued growth, they're looking to welcome an experienced Safety Valve Technician to their Swansea operation.

The Role:
As a Safety Valve Technician, you'll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of safety valves and pressure relief devices both in-house and on customer sites. You'll work closely with engineers, operations teams, and clients to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient valve performance across a variety of industrial applications

Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, strip, clean, and reassemble safety valves to manufacturer/industry standards.
* Test and calibrate pressure relief valves (PRVs) both in the workshop and on-site.
* Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and certifications.
* Diagnose valve issues and recommend corrective actions.
* Operate valve test benches and associated calibration equipment.
* Participate in site-based work, including shutdowns and maintenance turnarounds.
* Document valve conditions and repairs in the company's Valve Management System
* Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Provide mentoring support to junior technicians where required.
* Keep up to date with developments in valve technology and best practice.

What We're Looking For:
* NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
* Hands-on experience working with safety valves, PRVs, or similar systems
* Familiarity with ASME, API, ISO standards.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with valve test/calibration equipment and diagnostic tools.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in both workshop and field environments.
* Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on-call when required.
* Full UK driving licence (essential for field work).
* Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential).
