Clayton Legal are currently working with this well-regarded firm, who are looking to appoint a Property Solicitor to join their established team in South West London.

This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth within the firm's property department and a consistent pipeline of quality instructions. It presents an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys working across both residential and commercial property matters and is looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload including:

Residential freehold and leasehold transactions
Deeds of variation and shared ownership matters
Landlord and tenant work, including lease renewals
Buying and selling commercial premises
Negotiating and drafting commercial leases for retail units, offices and shops
You will have the autonomy to manage files from instruction through to completion, while benefiting from the support of an experienced and approachable property team.

Alongside strong technical ability, the firm would welcome someone with a commercial mindset who enjoys developing relationships with agents, brokers and other professional contacts.

The firm uses LEAP Legal Software as its case management system (experience with LEAP is advantageous but not essential).

About You

Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in property law
Strong experience within residential conveyancing with exposure to commercial work
Confident managing your own caseload
Commercially aware with strong client relationship skills
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to your work
