£17,000 - £21,000 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This School based in the Retford inspires young people with SEND from ages 3 to 18, they work tirelessly to make sure each of their pupils achieve their potential. The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant involves working with Children with a variety of Special Educational Needs, this school based in the Rotherham are in particular caters for young people with Autistic Spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.  This role requires a highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the Team Teacher.  You will have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.


The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with children and young people up to the age of 19.

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress pupils with SEND

-          An ability to work as part of a team
