Maintenance Engineer

Location: Seasalter area, Kent
Salary: £21.00 - £22.50 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) + overtime available
Shift Pattern: Rotating

* Week 1: Monday-Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

* Week 2: Monday-Thursday, 14:00 - 22:30 | Friday, 14:00 - 19:30

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a manufacturing client in the Seasalter area seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support plant reliability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement across site operations.

Maintenance engineer responsibilities:

* A balanced split of PPM and reactive maintenance

* Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems

* Working on a range of equipment including automation, hydraulics and pneumatics

* Supporting ongoing improvements and site upgrades

* Using a CMMS system to manage and prioritise work

* Collaborating with production and engineering teams to keep things running smoothly

Maintenance engineer experience:

* Experience in a maintenance engineering role (electrical or multi-skilled)

* Background within manufacturing or industrial environments

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

* Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently
