Kitchen Assistant - Tunbridge Wells (Term Time Only)

Hours: School hours, Monday-Friday

Contract: Term‑time only

Requirements: Enhanced DBS, Level 1 Food Hygiene

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Catering Assistant to join our school catering team in Tunbridge Wells. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and supporting the daily lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Supporting the catering team with food preparation, washing up, and general duties
Ensuring all food is handled safely and in line with hygiene regulations
Providing excellent customer service to pupils and staff

About You

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Level 1 Food Hygiene certificate (required)
Friendly, approachable, and able to work as part of a team
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow instructions and maintain a clean, safe working environment
